How we verify every listing
Most rental portals let anyone post anything. Thusani is the opposite: a small, curated set of homes we’ve each checked ourselves. Here is exactly what “verified” means on every card.
- 1
We confirm the owner
Before a home goes live we get a signed mandate from the owner or their managing agent. No mandate, no listing — this alone rules out the most common rental scam.
- 2
We photograph it ourselves
Our team visits and shoots the actual unit. We never accept supplied images, so the photos you see are current and real — not stock, not stolen, not another unit.
- 3
We confirm the price and every cost
The advertised rent must match the lease. We list the deposit, admin fee and estimated levies + utilities up front, so there are no surprises after you commit.
- 4
We keep it unique
One unit means one listing. We remove duplicates and re-posts so you never chase the same 'bargain' across five adverts that all lead nowhere.
- 5
We re-confirm availability
We check back with the owner regularly and stamp each listing with the date availability was last confirmed. If a home is gone, it comes down.
Your part in staying safe
Even with verified listings, one rule protects you completely: never pay a deposit or any fee before you’ve viewed the home in person. We’ll always arrange an in-person viewing first.
