Are the listings really verified?
Yes. Every listing is hand-checked by our team before it goes live — we confirm the owner or agent has a mandate, take the photos ourselves on-site, confirm the price matches the lease, and re-confirm availability. You can see exactly what we checked on each listing.
Do I have to pay to use Thusani?
No. Browsing and enquiring are completely free. You only ever deal with rent, deposit and any fees set by the landlord — all shown up front on the listing.
How do I arrange a viewing?
Open a listing and use “Request a viewing”. Tell us when suits you and we’ll confirm a time. You deal with our verified team, not an anonymous poster.
Should I ever pay a deposit before viewing?
No — never pay a deposit or any fee before you’ve seen the place in person. This one rule protects you from almost every rental scam, and we always arrange an in-person viewing first.
What will I actually pay to move in?
Each listing shows the full move-in cost: first month’s rent plus the deposit and any admin fee, along with an estimate of monthly levies and utilities. No hidden surprises.

How do I know a listing isn’t a scam?
Because we visited it. We only list places we’ve verified, we keep one listing per unit (no duplicate reposts), and we stamp each with the date availability was last confirmed.
